Craft Beer

We love good beer, and just like with our coffee, we stay hands-on to ensure we’re bringing out the very best flavor in every brew. While our guests enjoy a pint in the front of our shop, our brewing team is working hard in the back. Our master brewer and his family oversee every part of the process, from milling, mashing, boiling and fermenting to kegging.

Whether you are new to the craft beer scene or a seasoned pro, you’ll find something on tap that will suit your taste. We offer many varieties of craft beers, including stouts, fruit wheats, IPAs and ales, along with seasonal brews.

If you’re a craft beer novice, our brewing team encourages you to keep an open mind and sample numerous styles. Find something you enjoy, and expand from there. Ask questions, take recommendations and talk to your local brewers. They really like to talk about beer!

Our Brewing Team

Our brewing team has been here since 2017. Doug Behnfeldt is our master brewer, and his family members Chris, Sarah and Rob all assist. Lovingly referred to as our Brew Crew, the team oversees all things beer for Ramblin’ Red’s Brewing Co.

It all started with a love of craft beer and a book about brewing that Doug received for Christmas back in the day. From there, his passion grew, his garage became the family’s home brewing headquarters, and their knowledge expanded.

Doug describes the brewing process as a cross between science and art. While the crew enjoys flexing their creatives muscles, they balance that with precision and consistency with each recipe. 

What inspires our Brew Crew? Good beer, of course, and YOU! Making people happy through high-quality craft beers keeps this team motivated. They love hearing guest feedback and they love creating brews for you to enjoy.
